Metered for the first time...

Recommended Posts

Box is 4.58 cubic feet with 72sq in of port, or 15.xx sq in per cube. Truck is a 2000 Dodge Dakota SLT, sub up port up. Will get pictures tomorrow. I know that number is shit, I've seen 8s and 10s put up more than that... :P

Box designed by Fecupe will have 17.xx sq inches of port. Going to hopefully finish building it tonight, get it setup tomorrow and metered when I have the time. Will also follow some little tricks like taping the sub surround, I have some badass camouflage duck tape that would look good. Can adding only 1.xx sq inch per cube of port really make that much of a difference? I hope it does!

That's the best picture I could get of the box. It's 4.58 cubes with a 6x12 port tuned to 35hz I believe, but I'm sure I messed up with that. No double baffle, no bracing.

More port like others have said. My single 3515 in my 2001 s-10 extended cab did a 144.3 legal. Box was 4.5 cubic feet with about 20 sq. inches of port per cubic foot. Amp was an Audioque 2200d with just over 400 watts after impedance rise. I Probably could have gotten a better score with a different box

TDH FTW !!!

Those numbers are crap. I've done better with a single 8 and 1500.

Hey take your 8 and shove it up your ass.

Op ima have to agree with the more port area. Also i mean whats your port look like? Were is it at? Where is the sub?

Not to be mean but x2...

I suggest a new enclosure then work with positioning and other details of your car.

Kerf? And yea next enclosure will be smaller, tuned higher to pack a bit more punch. Will also mention no 45s were used in my current box, it really is a POS lol :P
