sundownz
I'm guessing Ric won't be able to mess with it until after MECA Finals this weekend, though! fyerbyrd22
He ( rusty ) doesn't have one to offer ATM. Waiting on top plates and t-yokes, I'm almost willing to send you one of my XL 15s..... He needs a level 3 to compare. These are 600 watt rms subs he is beating on. An xl would be an unfair comparison. I wish all the coil configs were the same though. Wonder how the Arsenal would do if it were D2 and if it would take more than 3-4 rolls of the knob. I understand that, but i was curious as to what an XL would do and how it would hold up after seeing these tests, id guarantee youd get over a 160...it would def take the power for a burp...i had my 2 xl 10s on 6k and they werent stressed daily...for a burp, wouldnt even sweat personal build in progress http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/188656-2013-kia-sorento-6-12-no-wall/ www.facebook.com/TurbulentDesigns

KMS
I finally made a little time to make Ric another D2-SPL re-cone kit -- made it myself This one will also have our newer style stitched surround cones that are debuting shortly * Big Epoxy bead on top to handle the "slightly" high power level * Stitched surround * Rear triple joint glue - extra beefy - with the SPL coil Alpine PDX-V9 Morel Tempo 6 Alpine SBR-S8-4 Alpine CDE 149BT
Ric Thornton
I like Sundown more and more every day... just today... single Sundown saz2500d in Gary's Blazer on a single DD9512 in a music box (tuned at 38hz)... doing a 148.9dB!!!! THATS NUTS. and my truck... Sundown saz3500d clamping at 1009 watts at 5.3ohm... on two DD3515 doing a 152.8dB and a 152 on music. I'm loving em. Keep making killer products and Sundown will never leave my shop. Got another guy talking bout two Sa10 in spl setup in trunk (with some help from our friend and fellow team mate Terry "Trunk King" Brocks) and another looking to do either 4 sa12's ported or 6 sa12's sealed (he can't decide)... oh yea. I wonder how two Sa15" would do in my truck since I'm at only 1009 watts... hmmm... dual 2's... hmmmmmmmmmmmm
sundownz
If your truck is tuned low likely the SA-15s would do very well -- should give them a shot No product is perfect but we do our best -- and when something does happen we always work hard to remedy it for the customer as best we can.
