lilizards1 Posted May 20, 2011 Report Posted May 20, 2011 Im helping a buddy install (2) 10' Kicker custom subs that are originally made for a dodge challenger. http://www.leeparts.com/dodge_challenger/accessories/audio/kicker_10_inch_square_subwoofer.html Dual 2 ohms so im going to wire them up to 4 each and run together at 2 ohms. His budget is tight and these subs can only hand about 400 watts. Any suggestions on a cheap amp preferably under $90.

canderton01 Posted May 20, 2011 Report Posted May 20, 2011 the cheapest amps I'd recommend are Audiopipes. You can get a 1500d for $100-$150 if you look around. IIRC I think it does around 900 watts rms @ 2 Ohms so your buddy could always just turn the gain down if it's too much for his subs to handle.
