C-Fizzy
They're rated for 600, correct? If you're not experienced, I would run them at 600. JEMT8
I believe they are 600rms like the rest of the series. 1000rms if you want to get frisky Quote formerly known as Jaylor Swift

Supercharged DCs
Build your box smaller if you want to run 1000w to them. Jacob has a thread on this subject on another forum, just google SA 8 power handling. Quote Bassless once again. kandiman71874
The RMS rating on the SA-8 is 400 watts, not 600. The 600 watt drivers would be the 10,12 and 15 but not the 8. This is due in part to the 8 having a slightly smaller coil and motor than the rest of the SA line. Supercharged DCs
Found the thread I mentioned earlier, http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/73681-sa-8-power-vs-box-size/ Should be informative Quote Bassless once again. sundownz
Also... the more you put together in a box keep the box as small as you can per driver. We learned this in Jared's truck with 12 of them in a wall BIG TIME -- they would get to full 2" p-p stroke even with 0.5 each with under 400 watts with that many of them housed together. Supercharged DCs
So Jacob, if someone was to do multiples of them, you would recommend as small as physically possible, or a set number? Say .3 cubes per driver. Quote Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.
