lifted_silverado Posted November 10, 2011 Report Posted November 10, 2011 When "professional" audio shops give wrong information and then try to convince you theyre right and youre an idiot. Was told that specific tunings in ported boxes only made a difference if youre running stuff like 8 12s Everythings in the attic or garage since the truck was sold last year. New build should be coming soon in a dodge cummins
Kevin M Posted November 10, 2011 Report Posted November 10, 2011 when people comment in your thread to post more pics and vids, you post more pics and vids and then it's ____________________________________________________________(crickets)______________ Or... You can get a couple hundred views every time you update your thread but no one says anything. I thought a wall build would be more popular. Were talking 18” subs here people. lol 2005 Ford Focus zx4 AMT's and Planars 18" Infinite baffle

TeamHT Posted November 10, 2011 Report Posted November 10, 2011 When people make simple mistakes, they complain about said results due to mistakes, are then advised of what is wrong and they reply, "I am not new to car audio." or "I have been installing sound systems for years." or "I think I know what I am doing.". Um...obviously not Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

Quiet Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 Just ask them what class did they run in... and where their car is. Usually shuts them up. 2007 Pacifica Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud.
FordRanger Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 What I hate is when I demo kids at school. Tell them everything I have in my truck. Then they proceed to tell me I can push my subs harder or I need to get a better amp. When I'm nearly pushing my subs to the max. 2000 Ford Ranger XLT Ext Cab Pioneer AVH-P23000 Kicker 6x8s (2)Kicker CVX 15's (1) RE Audio XT4000DE V3 MonoBlock Amp Kicker 1/0 Gauge Wiring Kit
AdamTheAudioMan Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 I hate it when I go into car audio shops, and all I see is prefab boxes, Jl subs, and Pioneer, UNDER-CONSTRUCTION ''Old School Build'' maybe it sounds like an 18 cause theres 3 fucking "port" holes ghetto drilled in the "box" 190 db when your done? Yea that's the lowest decibal ill be satisfied with when I'm done like I said its stage one and I lost my job u guys should consider shit instead of just talk it lmao
