doug118 Posted May 28, 2011 Report Posted May 28, 2011 quick rundown of my equipment 2000 Honda Accord 100% stock electrical (70 amp alt) Big 3, 1 run of 1/0 2 Sundown SA-12's Audiopipe ap1500d @ .5ohm 4 cubes @ 35hz. subs and port firing forward in the trunk Managed a 140.7 on music dropping down to 12.1 volts, peaking at 45hz. Everyone said it sounded much louder then a 140 and I thought so too. I have maybe $1k into everything from the headunit to the wood for the box. Should I be doing higher numbers then that or am I just wishfully thinking? 2001 Tahoe. bobobass Posted May 28, 2011 Report Posted May 28, 2011 I wouldn't run that low on that amp, very hard on you electrical and you risk frying you tinsel leads.I definitely would expect a bit more out of those subs. I usually see set-ups with sundown's like that doing mid 40's. That's exactly what I'm thinking. I got the amp for $115 new so if it smokes then it's not big loss. Then I'll upgrade to a nicer amp and more batteries. Supercharged DCs Posted May 28, 2011 Report Posted May 28, 2011 Eh, better score than my DD3515 got me on DC2k Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.
