Supercharged DCs
It looks good, but will have to see how the plywood holds up. How does it sound? Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.
trjohnst
My trunk gets wet sometimes so I didnt want to get the MDF. I did want to get birchwood plywood, but it was pricey, so I got this stuff. I havnt tried it yet, maybe tomorrow. I need to put some glue in it, anyone have any suggestions? I dont have a caulk gun so I might have to buy one 1991 Accord Audioque HDC3 15" (Copper)<--Sub Audioque HDC3 15" (Copper)<--Backup Sub Crescendo BC2000D<--Amp Big 3 1/0 Knu<--Wiring Eonon 3.5" DVD<--Headunit Infinity Kappa Perfect<--Mids & Highs 2nd Stock 80Amp alt. 1991 Mustang 5.0 Too many mods (Sold) 1991 240sx SR20 Red Top Too many mods (Sold) 2004 GTO Just starting mods
Supercharged DCs
You didn't glue it together before you screwed/nailed the box together? Bassless once again. trjohnst
Nah, I usually glue it after I put it together and put it on the edges 1991 Accord Audioque HDC3 15" (Copper)<--Sub Audioque HDC3 15" (Copper)<--Backup Sub Crescendo BC2000D<--Amp Big 3 1/0 Knu<--Wiring Eonon 3.5" DVD<--Headunit Infinity Kappa Perfect<--Mids & Highs 2nd Stock 80Amp alt. 1991 Mustang 5.0 Too many mods (Sold) 1991 240sx SR20 Red Top Too many mods (Sold) 2004 GTO Just starting mods
Supercharged DCs
If your only putting it on the edges, that's just sealing it. You are ideally supposed to glue it before screwing it or nailing it (all the screws and nails are for is to support the box while the glue dries)... I'm anxious to see how this performs. R3nOSlaPP
your supposed to put glue in the joints before you screw it in it'll provide a better seal and ever time the glue will be stronger than any of the nails or screws in it then just use caulking for the inside seams to seal it 100% but good work got a bad ass sub man Vehicle: 2017 Chevrolet Silverado High Country Electrical: 320A Singer Alt, (2) Limitless Lithium 15ah, Full Throttle FT680-48 Speakers: Stevens Audio SA 6 (ACTIVE), Audio Designs 3” Subwoofer: (4) B2 Audio XM 8’s Amplifiers: (2) B2 Audio Rage 2500.1, (1) B2 Audio Rage 1200.6 Processors: NavTv M650 (integration), Helix DSP Pro MK2 Silverado Build Log
