Birch vs MDF

Recommended Posts

Ok I actually found 3/4" birch ply here in oki one of the base wood shops carries it. As for MDF here the closest I can get is 18mm which is a little less than 3/4". I was originally going to go with the 18mm MDF but now I found the birch. Which would you guys suggest? And as for pricing they are almost the exact same price just depends on daily yen rate

you win some, you lose some

Birch every day.

So much easier to work with because of weight and a single Layer is as strong as doubled mdf
