korey_hofer Posted June 6, 2011 Report Posted June 6, 2011 tuning that low is pointless also imo. mid 30's would sound much better for daily music. exactly any real designer knows this and just sits back and laughs at all the people who can't play real music So is that why you see some SQ guys tune below 30Hz? Seriously give it a shot. Get you some low inductance drivers and tune at say 26 or 27 with a smaller amount of port area and see what it sounds like, and I kind tell you this... its not peaky down low and still plays 60hz range just as loud as it plays low to mid 20s. Very nice flat response and wide! But I guess thats not what a real designer would do and just laugh at it! because they have the midbass speakers to handle it, that's not the case with almost all that you see now. And don't assume just because I think it's retarded to tune stupid low that I have never done it before, because I have had a wall at 27hz before. I think it's funny how butt hurt you got, sorry all these systems with mids that drop off around and subs tuned at 20hz just don't do it for me I don't see how missing a huge portion of music is a cool thing. If all I want is to move air I'll turn my fan up previously known as wenn_du_weinst aka fucking internet coward supreme. I talk shit on other forums like a little bitch and hope i don't get caught out on the street.

nCOMP1337 Posted June 6, 2011 Report Posted June 6, 2011 you only have 1 extra baffle, the program already accounts for the first one
SenorPeligro Posted June 6, 2011 Author Report Posted June 6, 2011 you only have 1 extra baffle, the program already accounts for the first one I think I'm confused on what a baffle is. Is it a 1 board = 1 baffle or 2 boards = 1 baffle assembly?
Supercharged DCs Posted June 6, 2011 Report Posted June 6, 2011 The baffle is the single piece of material you have holding your subwoofer. 1 piece of mdf= single baffle. 2 pieces of mdf= double baffle. Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.
kirill007 Posted June 6, 2011 Report Posted June 6, 2011 That's quite a lot of port area , but it should be fine if you know what your doing. Are you sure you only have 1 common port wall? Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
