6berry Posted June 20, 2011 Author Report Posted June 20, 2011 looks good but holy hell is that one small port yeah i didnt know too much about ported boxes when i built this so thats what i came up with. i made it that small because boston recommends a 4 inch circle for the port and this has the same area as that Great looking build man. I will have to steal the idea of you buss bars. 6berry Posted July 6, 2011 Author Report Posted July 6, 2011 Just got a pioneer deh-p4100UB headunit to replace the jvc unit. this headunit has 3 4v preouts instead of 1 2v and it has a rear usb input. also got a bunch of 1/0 and did the grounds of my big 3. still need a grommet to do the alternator wire on my big 3. Torres Posted July 6, 2011 Report Posted July 6, 2011 what kind of noise are you getting? if it's a hissing/whizzing/whirring noise it could be from the port. not only is it small like others said, but it's SUPER thin. that's squeezing the shit out of the air coming out of there
