nickers Posted June 17, 2011 Report Share Posted June 17, 2011 If you are talking about the gauge in your dash its not very accurate, therefore most times wont catch the voltage drops which could be detrimental to your amps. get a digital voltmeter and mount in your dash. if thats not what you mean dont make me feel stupid cause im the only one to reply. Supercharged DCs Posted June 17, 2011 Report Share Posted June 17, 2011 That's not what he means mate Most vehicles do not like 16v, I would keep it at 14v or get a stepdown module to run a 16v system to the amps and 14v to the rest of the vehicle.
