dwright27
And I think you're thinking of Rival904 and his 8 15 box. The 1st 4th order me and jeff built from him did 53+, and I think if the sealed chambers would've been smaller it would've been louder. The ratio was ass backwards for a STUPID FLAT response. It was a 1:2 potted:sealed or something like that. 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L. Quiet
His youtube page IS entertaining... PWK is stuck in his own ways.. He spends lots of time designing boxes to make absolutely sure it's as flat as it'll get in that specific car. Chances are you can roll dice on a enclosure design and get close without spending PWK money. You don't build for a flat response to get LOUD. That's probably what people don't get, and why people don't like his designs. He's an SQ guy. Don't ask a SQ guy for advise on gettin loud. 2007 Pacifica Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud. fecupe2001
Well, you have to wait a lot of time for a design and pay him a lot of money when you can get one cheaper and faster from many other guys that get way louder than him I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. korey_hofer
all the bad stuff I have seen is from people who built from a design all the boxes he built have had all good things said about them. attention to detail probably has a lot to do with some of his designs failing, and of course you get the idiots who don't actually build then complain about what they got. As a designer he is pretty good, cost way to much to order from him previously known as wenn_du_weinst aka fucking internet coward supreme. I talk shit on other forums like a little bitch and hope i don't get caught out on the street.
AI James
He's not great IMO. I feel alot of times he promisses people things then doesn't deliver. I've seen over 30 of his boxes be overly complicated for what they are trying to achieve and still not achieve the goal.
fecupe2001
Funniest thing is when people claim that they are 3 times louder to the ears and on the meter when they built one of his designs, but their former boxes were really shitty!!! Reilly
I've done a few of his designs, they were all fairly flat to 35hz. Poor total output though, told they would slam. Pretty much fail, but that is no where near enough to form a true opinion. As for not getting a DD to play as low as an RE, you are seriously doing something wrong, trust me. My 1510´s used to play around STRONG 30-32 hz with a 41 hz tuning, and my 3518´s can drop to 28 hz without any problems on a 35 hz tuning I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains.
