Going to hook it up tomorrow morning, and if I can find a way to put the R300-4 on the current amp rack I will try. The package though that the AQ750 came in was in really shitty condition. Hopefully the amp is fine. Here goes pics! Two slits on one side of the box Here is a gash at the lower part of those two cuts. Here are two other slices on the opposite side of the box, along with a big gash in the box. This was the bag that the amp was in, and this whole was on the corner of the amp where the big gash was on the box. On to the goodies to be put in, also there is 40ft of Sound Deadener at my pops. Damplifier from Second Skin. That will happen when I build the new box, so I can create a longer amp rack and make one to fit the two new amps. Along with that I will create boards to go off the top of the sub box on each side to mouth the R1675's. Sound deadener may take some time, but I want to get the box done within the next few weeks. RooTxBeeR Posted April 26, 2013 Author Report Share Posted April 26, 2013 Lol I have the pics just have yet to upload them. The car is in the process of being completely redone. The box is almost done, the top 2 baffles are drying overnight, the new amp rack is constructed and amps are mounted. Wires are cleaned up a smidge, just waiting for the rack and box to be put in to get to final lengths. Today I also changed my spark plugs which made a world of a difference, although the old ones where covered in oil when we pulled them out. Wierd. I also cleaned the living shit out of my car, bought 2 packages of armourall wipes, and really put in some elbow grease. Need to stop at home depot to get some brackets to get my baffles made that will attach to the sides of my box to mount the rear speakers. Will also be attempting to deaden the vast majority of my floor, or doing my entire headliner. Will have many pics to add over the next couple of days. Along with this progress, My employeer asked me if I wanted to switch to a new facility for the summer, getting $2 more per hour, and working 40 hours a week their compared to my 24 now. So that will bring in a new Alt, New front battery, Tints, and if I can find a spot, I am going to do the old chinese send in voltmeter thing steve has going on. Pray for the best!!! I am not pleased at all :/ I don't know if it is the mishap with my ports width being different in both the spots, or what. Now I must say though, I have the r300.4 sounds AMAZING!!! just needs some fine tuning. But since I started late, had no time for pictures, will be taking some tomorrow when I re tune the amps. Seem to have a bit of a problem. Before I had my amps tuned with the volume maxed at 62. This time I redid it to 40, and now my bass knob's clip light goes off almost all the time 33+ on the volume. The low bass is louder, and it sounds better, but it's stil not what I wanted Also to top it all off, I have a pioneer headunit and I have alt noise, so it seems I have finally blown my pico fuse. RooTxBeeR Posted April 29, 2013 Author Report Share Posted April 29, 2013 Somehow, no more alt noise, and I retuned the amps to a maximum of 59 which is max unclipped on the aq750. I think the light is coming on so early, for decaf songs only. I played some songs I haven't in a long time, ones that are unedited, but still loud and I could go to 59 on almost all of them. Most decaf songs I stay around 52-54 and am very easy on the gain knob. But it is still loud, just not as low as I wanted it to be. Here come the pics! I was rushed because I got busy before finishing the box, so I had no time for pics. But here is everything since. I am working on getting some cardboard templates made to get a peice of wood mounted on the side of the box to hold my RF R1675's in the back.
