P4killer_ Posted June 21, 2011 Report Posted June 21, 2011 So look what came in the mail.. Anyway the amp look great. I hooked everything up. Sitting at .9 nominal. The output was waaay down.. I mean I was just driving 30 mins ago on the 2 channel amp and it sounded great... I got to checking things, fuses. Voltage, impeadence, phase, RCAs, hu, tried using only 1 coil, just everything. Double check all my settings... I checked the output voltage.. good. I even clamped it to make sure im getting which i got 1085w at 1.86 ohms @ 50hz at 11.9v not bad at all... So I have each coil on its own bolt through terminal and the wires marked + and - the only thing i could think of is that somehow i missed marked the terminals and ive got one of the coils backward. being that its a BP , i cant really easilly take the woofer out... I decided to drill a hole in the ported section. I strung some xmas lights in there to see.. and my baffle is like split in half... LMAO OWNED.. i had the woofer mounted inverted.. Fuuuuu ..damn I been basically free airing my sub during testing idk when it happened maybe when i took the box out to put in the crescendo.. anyway i had some lulz and idk when i can build a new box being that i work 54hours / week lol owned.
