Maticus
I need help with the design process, Rather just what amount of air space in the sealed, and the ported. The only part of the box going into the cab will be the port. I need to know what tuning as well as amount of port volume. I have 39 wide and 15 tall. Length is the truck bed. RooTxBeeR
I don't know much at all about 4th orders, but from what i have seen in reading topics when people asked questions is that they did it to a 1:3 ratio, guessing its sealed:ported. Don't take my work for that though. SkylarDunn
personally i love 1:.5 compression, they usually have an extremely high fidelity, and can get easily 50hz of bandwidth out of them, but running higher compression is louder, its peaky as hell and doesnt really play a full range of sounds, i'll build some boxes out of OSB next week and show you what i mean. when you run a much larger sealed chamber, you can tune alot higher with the ported chamber, and still get amazing lows, due to the lower F3 in the sealed partition.
