Thanks man! I was kinda dreading doing this, just for the fear that I'd get it all done, and run into the same problem. But I went through everything thoroughly and made sure any and all threads were clean and clear, all belts and mounting holes were lined up, cleaned everything up all nice and pretty, hooked up the batteries and took the leap of faith. Turned the key. No whining, no squealing, no slipping. Voltmeter kicked on and started reading a steady 14.46. Woot.

Shoulda held onto that Mechman!!! At least you got some money back when you sold it, and you're not gonna be running mass amounts of power, so you shoulding need anything that big and beefy, right?

No I shouldn't. I'm gonna run an XS D6500 in the rear, gotta get a new something for up front, and then my amps will be either a bc2000d or mostly likely a bc3500d, then a single c1100.4 for mids and highs. That's it. I think the single battery in the back should be fine, not going for numbers or anything, and then probably go with a singer or tenney alt. Don't need a beast and they've been the lowest prices.

Yea you won't need anything too major. The 6500 in the back and the biggest you can fit up front..... Which I believe would be a 3400... I think I saw it installed in the Civic thread. You should be fine while running both of the highly efficient amps!
