Here's a better pic of the EQ with and without the LED's on. I know the setting on the EQ for my sub volume and my main volume for when it clips, so it's pretty important for me to see it.

And I just took a 20 minute drive and they really didn't bother my eyes at all.

I'm severely cross-eyed, so my right eye is always on the road.

I usually keep my eyes up, or my hand resting on the shifter, so it'll block some of the glare.

Stock battery up front, powerware battery in the back. Big 3. 1 run of 1/0 from front to back for now.

You should notice a more stable voltage when you do it. Just a warning, or a tip.... The run from the alternator to the battery is a pain in the ass. At least for me anyway. I think your engine might be set up differently.

Looks good man! There's no way I could drive very long with that light though, my eyes get fucked up on long drives if the instrument panel is too bright sometimes. Lol

Well I've also got them hooked up to the switch that controls the voltmeter, so if I'm not wangin' away and needing to keep an eye on my voltage, I'll go ahead and flip the switch and cut the power.

i already scoped out a way to run it, theres a lip above the radiator that the 1/0 fits perfectly into with holes for zip ties (its not touching the radiator and is shielded).

the grounds though.....

i mean can i just run pos from alt to bat and neg from alt to bat? or do i gotta upgrade engine to frame and alt to frame as well?

That's the same place I ran my power from alt to battery, but I was saying the pain in the ass is actually mounting the wire to the alt. You gotta bend the terminal on the wire at a 90 degree angle and run it out and around the alt, then tuck it back and run it up to the radiator support.

But when upgrading the big 3 wires, there's no need to run a negative from the alt. Just upgrade the 2 grounds near the battery... Battery to frame, then under the battery is the transmission mount to frame. Then just upgrade the engine to frame and that's it. The stock ground wires are bullshit. 8ga wire at best.... I think mine were just thin, braided steel straps.
