gonna find out some more info and probably order a section to see what it's like, i'll report back with my findings!

Update: Just talked to my buddy who is a journeyman through our local electrical company and he said he's hesitant to use this cable for our application. I'm going to call the company in the morning on my break and see what i can find out. Anyone have ideas on how i can word my questions besides flat out asking if it'll work for car audio? I don't want to give them the answer i'm looking for just so that they can say yes and it really not being ok for our use.

  • 2 weeks later...

Talked to the company yesterday and they said the cable is usually used for heavy equipment battery cable as well as welding cable. I ordered a piece of the 2/0 and a piece of 4/0 (just because I've never seen 4/0) and will report back on it.
