CruelSoul Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 Well I found an ad on craigslist last night on some car audio topic was 3 jl 10w3d6 subs in a custon box its sealed with plexi-glass behind them showing the magnets with a cfa1000d so I called up the guy and asked him about it he wanted 175OBO so a buddy and I drove to his house today took about 35 mins each way went and checked it out made sure everything worked well everything was nice except for the surround around the subs a lil cracked up well I said to the guy would you sell just the amp and box guy said how much I offered him 70 he said give me 80 and take it all well brought it all home looked online for new surround they want around 20 bucks or so for 3 anyone else know a good place to check for some cheaper there has to be cheaper but you guys think it was a good deal the cfa is like mint shape and do you think it can hammer pretty hard?

I had an old directed audio xtreme sub plus a little 200wrms amp laying around so I bought this crappy home made box for like $5 from a friend and it's was sealed good at all so I just went through with wood glue and caulking and sealed it all up and I put that little system in my girlfriends car for her. Turned out good! So just take your time and fix everything up nice, have a little patience and it should turn out nice! Good deal on that one man so far...
