pektel
So it's been a couple months since building the box for my dc lvl 4 12 d2. I ended up messing up the color TWICE on the carpet when ordering from partsexpress. But finally got the right stuff. Box is about 2.3 cubes tuned to 33-34 hz. Box is built from 3/4" birch ply: 4" aeroport: In the trunk, with the 2 wrong colors of carpet: And after, with the proper color carpet installed: And yes, I will paint the heads of the port screws black. That shouldn't take long though. Amp pushing it is a directed d2400. Looking for a different amp though. Maybe an aq2200. Anyways, thisis my first box build, so I'm rather proud of it. pektel
I guess that could work! I'm pretty particular about what I DIY, so I was planning on grabbing the primer and flat black paint out ofthe basement. What I've done with cabinet hardware in the past was to attach them to a scrap piece of cardboard, prime, and paint. Maybe I'm overthinking it...
