If you are going to run the rated Rms power then I would go 1.5 per sub after displacements. If you are going to run over Rms power then I would go 1.25 per sub after displacements. If you are going to run under Rms power then I would go with 2 per sub after displacements. I think you get the trend here. Build your box for the power you will have in the end, not what you have now or else you will just be building another box later when you upgrade amps. RooTxBeeR Posted June 30, 2011 Author Report Share Posted June 30, 2011 Sadly I can't use that box, I have a 91 civic hatch so that design will not fit my max dimensions are 21.5 H, 16.5 D, and 34.5 W. Just screwed around with the previous design, and I think that .04 over 3.0 on the gross will be just enough for the 2 1" poles inside the box for bracing.
