Iv checked ground, fuses, power fuse, and connections, all seem to be good. So what do I do? Usually protects due to ohm issue or current flow, I.e. yer +/- r touching or not enough juice flowing. R u in same vehicle as when u used it in the past? Alt may be smaller etc... I kept taking the amp in and out to mess with it and one time, the positive came out of the terminal and touched the ground. It didnt spark but it shorted out the amp and even though it worked soon enough i killed the amp. My lesson i learned from it is to connect the wires to my amps FIRST, then hook them up to the battery. Oh well, live and learn. lol.
