Its on the dash, it just doesn't have to be sealed, but I never met the guy, he does put up pretty decent numbers though.

You won't get a 150 on a 3000w rms amp. Even clamping 3000 watts, it'd be a struggle. It's nice that you have goals, but you have no idea how hard it is to get a 150. A 145 with 1 12" is pretty hard too.

There's a guy Anton Miller from Midwest SPL that does 150's with 2 12's on alittle over 2kw clamped. And he is tuned to like 29hz too.

Another one who is part of my inspiration.

So (idk if i said it yet but) mystery amp is gone and im looking to put in the order for the new toy tomorrow.

I'm having an issue with what sub to pick still, as it decides what i will build...If anyone wants to help shoot me a pm/post up thoughts.

As this will be my 1st comp that i attend should i try and stay in the stock(entry classes) or go a step up as street stock A (dbdrag) already a no go(amps over 1krms_)?

so far i've gotten here

1 -12(or 15) and

1 3-4cube box with 50-60 inches of port tuned at around40hz for comps 35-33hz daily maybe even low as 30hz

electrical should hold up for now

I would say go with a 15 maybe a fi btl or a dc level 5 with aero ports so you can change them from daily to comp. idk how much box they would want but you could get up in the 140's with a setup like that. then just keep tweaking it and gaining tenths at a time until you reach your goal.

4 - DC Level 3 10's in a 4th order

Rockford P6002 on Subs for now (3-3.5k coming eventually)

Boston S50 Components in Front

Boston S65 Coaxials in Rear

yeah i was looking at fi the ssd's have a nice price but id only throw around 1300rms to each to be safe(i don't know what they can do)

which lead me to looking into audioque i really want to throw 3k at 1 hdc3 :peepwall:, i just have to be sure to be easy on daily until i add a second sub.

Also was looking at the bl/Q 12

really on a short leash with the sub budget. $200giv or take
