i started of with 2 t1 10s and a p500.1 amp doing a 138.8 a year later with a t2 12" and t1500.1dbcp 143.9. took a year to make that 5.1 jump. now i have 2 t2 12s and buying a mechman 220 amp alt (volts drop to low 12s) and building a box and having it all together by june and hoping for 145+ with the same amp (car is a 03 focus 5dr hatchback).

im sure 150 can be done but will take more then 3k rms and im sure that a wall would help but i would love to see you do 150 without a wall.

t1500bdcp

2 t2d4 15"

1 t600.4

1 t400.2

1 set p1 tweets

singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.

ok... I've only gotten through the first page... and I would have to literally "multiquote" just about everyone... then say this...

DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU THAT YOU CANNOT DO SOMETHING!

Everyone said "nobody will break a 160dB" Alma Gates and Bill Proud did it first.

Everyone said... "nobody will break a 170dB"... Alma Gates did it first.

Everyone said "nobody will break a 180dB"... Scott Owens shut them up.

Everyone said "nobody will break a 150 in a trunk... (honestly not sure who did this first but I'm thinking Steve Sears, Thor where in the range)

Everyone said "nobody will break a 155 in a trunk car... Terry Brocks shut them all up with a 159.7dB out of a trunk.

So don't ever let someone tell you that it can't be done.

I can tell you right now that Team Pulse has a few members doing very close or over that 150 mark out of a trunk car.

in Car 0-1800 watts Ron Garrett from Team Pulse (RGarrett on SMD) is in the 149dB range with a single 12" and less than 1800 watts in a Ford Focus 4 door trunk car. A World Record. (with an even stronger new sub and amp soon) (SPL enclosure)

In Trunk 0-1800 Matt Starke from Team Pulse (CrazyEight on SMD) is doing just over a 150dB with a single Sundown sa12 in the trunk of a Chevy Malibu 4 door Trunk car. A World Record. (SPL enclosure)

In Trunk 1801-3600 Ron Campbell from Team Pulse (ZiggetyZag26 on SMD) is doing over a 150dB with two 12" and clamping around 3k in a 2 door Chevy Monte Carlo trunk car. A World Record. (daily music setup)

In Trunk 3600 and up Terry Brocks of Team Pulse is doing close to a 160dB (159.7dB highest so far at a show) out of a Honda Civic 4 door Trunk car. World Record and LOUDEST TRUNK CAR IN THE WORLD.

Terry started with a single simple sub setup to figure out exactly how he wanted to go about things and I believe his first show with this car he only did like a 143 or so and everyone was like... wtf.... Now look at him.

Just sayin... Bro shoot for the stars and when you get there look down and say "I did it" and be proud of what you have done.

And if you want to rock it... give me your address and I'll have a Pulse sticker on it's way to you sir.

Good luck!
