If he's getting a full ride then Ive got another reason to not like soundstream. iirc they get subs stoopid cheap....but not much of a break on amps last week we tested brand X in someones car that has the x3 subs and gained 3.2db Bet i know what brand X was...lol Also whatever happened with Soundstreams armored vehicle build? I think if there was an issue with the sub that would of caused it to self destruct that it would of been easily noticeable long before power was put to it. I also do not see the X3 being a good replacement for the XXX. While I don't think it is a bad sub, I wouldn't want to try to compare the 2. I just recone an x3 a few weeks back and there is some good and some stuff I didn't like in its design. Designing, building, and shipping boxes.
