Hugh G. Rection
the battery rests at 13.6V sometimes a battery can have a dead cell, and will show good voltage but not put out any amperage. Owner of BigAss Ports
Supercharged DCs
the battery rests at 13.6V and apparently doing that disconnecting thing can cause a huge voltage spike and fry things. I tested my charging system like mentioned, and no problems arised from it. I found out it was my battery causing the issue, and not the alternator. Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.
dkindle613
i have been told that for some vehicles it is bad to disconnect the battery why the vehicle is running, it fucks with the fuel pump or something. i was told this after i disconnected my battery, to see if the alt was fine. but i had no problems what so ever. so good luck.
