Distorion Free, No Smoke Puffin, 15,000 watt Soundstream Ford Focus gets gains set with SMD- DD1

Recommended Posts

Well. 175v is really the limit.

If you have a 16000 watt amp i think you reaaalllllly dont give a shit about real clean sound.

Just use your ddm/scope.

175 is the limit, that changes things then, I thought I saw a post where PCA did a test with this and found the limit as well.

I dont know the limit, just what tony told me.

But i can tell you if i was running 20k clamped i would use a scope that i know can handle 600+ volts. Just to be safe.

Thats enough voltage and amperage if something did go wrong i dont wanna be holding those leads in muh handzz.

Normally people with the $$$ for those alts have the $$$ to grab a scope.

Unless you purchased the ear-o-meter 9k. :peepwall:
