Later today I walk in while he was telling my mom it was a waste of money.. So my question is if anyone elses dad like this? Ask him if you'd prefer you spend that money on drugs or booze. and then put down his hobby and see how he likes it. Your dad doesn't understand your hobby, but you can try to get him into your hobby if you give him a demo It is your money, who cares what you spend it on as long as it makes you happy! I actually put a amp to my doorspeakers to make him happy but it didn't seem to phase him. Still thinks its stupid. yea mine does the exact same thing.
