n8ball2013
Well got the duals installed and drove the truck today. I got horrible belt squeal. IT seems to be under load IE hard acceleration, things like that. pretty much if im on the gas I got the squeak. I just ordered a new tensioner and Ive been looking at a different belt. I have a gates micro-V on it now and I know there is a certain belt everyone runs. I think its green but cant remember. What is that belt? OrionStang
Go a belt size smaller if the tensioner doesn't help. Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

skittlesRgood
the green one ive only seen steve run. it has 7 or 8 ribs so you would have to cut ribs off. i have not been able to find the belt though. the more common belt is the goodyear gatorback. ive talked to several people who say that belt got rid of the slipping. i have the same squeal only at high rpm and im about to get a gatorback. zayres29
When I worked at a ford dealership we had this stuff we sprayed on the belt to stop squeal but I don't know that was years ago Quote Btw that was the first person. newls1
Newls thats what im looking for! Sold many of them back in the day, there VERY EXpensive, so heads up. If I remember correctly a normal surp belt like the gates k060925 will cost ~40-45$, the GREEN BACK version will be 75-80$ but its worth it. Get the greeny belt, slightly shorter then your current belt (1/2 shorter) and your issue should be delt with.
