Sorry to knock on your purchase, but you'd be better off with a tang band 8" than that Sony. 2007 Pacifica Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud. I'm sure that the sony doesn't have much in the way of cooling capacity since it doesn't move much air. If he ends up sending square waves to the coils by the way of an amp that won't supply enough clean power then he will toast that sub real quick. Atleast with the AQ he will have some audible warning (bottoming out) that his sub is hurting! 2007 Pacifica Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud.
