MACnonsence6
has anyone ever seen a water cooled amp? I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. Tonight should be good haha.
Blue
I think it was Boss (at least I think it was boss)that had a water cooling system for their amps and subs. Saw it at a shop a long time ago. But I believe people were having trouble with it. Granted it is Boss. formerly known as Blue86f150 its a 4th order just because its tuned in the 40z doesnt mean it wont reach down and jiggle your balls at sub 30 hz frequencies. Regardless if they were dipped platinum and were stuffed in Beyonce's twat.....way too fucking exspensive this sux camel dicks

Kevin M
A few competitors were doing this back in the day. They would drill holes in the heatsink and run stainless steel tubes with coolant through it. The few I saw at least. It would've been great for those old punch series amps that got as hot as the surface of the sun. n8ball2013
bazooka did a long tiem ago. with the technology now i dont know if youd see any benefit to it. its not like the class a and a/b amps that used to run so hot you could cook on them. cool concept but probably not a wise one in a vehicle.
