TeamHT
Because Person A is able to run his equipment at .5 ohms (whether ignorantly or not) does not mean Person B will be able to. Just stating. Quote Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
deepsilencer
i used to have my old aq3500d.1 @.5 before, with zero problems, but it did use to get warm even doe i had 4 xs power d3100s and a d1200 under the hood with the 320 mechman took things like a champ right now i have my dc 9k @ 3.5,same electrical except more 0g runs and upgraded the d1200 to a d2400 so far zero problems as well, hasnt gone to protect, doesnt get hot, sometimes i feel the amp aint even connected lol and voltage doesnt go below 13.6 when i dont rev it sees 12.9,sometimes 12.8 like team bass hz said,it depends man,not all ppl can pull it off, you just need some cool electrical to keep things stable, but than again wiring that high can most of the time be unhealthy for your equipment, just becareful gdluck Quote TEAM FLEX ISSUES,TEAM DC AUDIO 2000 Silverado Ext 1500 v.3 (Walled Silverado) 4 DC Power 270a Alts on A DC Power Quad Alt Bracket XS Power VCM,Stinger Volt Meters 4 AA Mayhem 18s 2 DC Audio 9.0ks Strapped 1 DC Audio 175.4 4 Selenium 6.5s & 4 Selenium 8s 4 Selenium Super Tweeter st350s 72 SQ Ft Of Stinger Roadkill Expert Alpine CDA 9887 XS Power d3400(Hood),6 XS Power d3100s(Bed) & much more..... 2011 Meca CA State Champion & State Record Holder In M5 Meca SPL:158.2 Meca P&P:137.4 DB Drag:159.1 USACI:161.2 BUILD LOG.....YOUTUBE CHANNEL.....FEEDBACK
skittlesRgood
i ran my saz1500s at .5 strapped daily. i could put them into protect or burn the fuses but that was not all that common. ran two crescendo 3ks at .5ohm daily, no problems. but i kept my voltage at a safe level and i had my amps in closed amp racks with two fans on each amp to keep them cool.
