tonedeaf
I've seen several 160+ builds using the CDA 9887, but I had the same issue with my cd player when the bass hit and it ended up being a bad groud on the cd player. (although I'm nowhere near 160+ and you probably checked the wiring) Dbdon, ray, bassick, and boiler all come to mind on good people to ask. Edit: sorry, didnt see the only 157+ peeps. Thought it was good input. Sowwy. Edited August 14, 2011 by tonedeaf

kickass audio
I am with what Ray posted with the mechanical screens. I noticed with my Alpine IVA-W205 i have, when a heavy bass hits the screen will flicker very fast. I dont play cd's at all so idk how that would work but im sure it would skip around to all hell. I also noticed with my headunit that in the winter time when the radio is very cold from sitting in the truck overnight, if i turn the radio on and press anything on the screen, the screen will flicker as well. I verified all the connections on the radio and cant figure it out but oh well. Soon enough i wont even have a headunit, ill just be using either my old laptop or ill use my new tablet i bought. Katt
Take deck from dash. Hold in hand. I win vids? Edit: Seriously, fab up a steel case for it and weld it in so it fits snug? Even if it was snug, Wouldn't it still rattle the shit out of it? I mean i was there tonight when it happened, and it's brutal as hell, But wish you luck on getting it fixed! Whoops, didn't see the experience only part, sorry. ChevyBoy95
My only suggestion is to take it out of the dash and relocate it. Like on a fabbed stand or something rather than sitting in the dash that flexes like crazy.
