Nightshade
James was right in what he said. If your planning on running 4 sets of comps, a total of 16 speakers off an amp that only produces 175 watts a channel by 4 your asking for a lot. That's a total of 700 watts and lets call it 44 watts a speaker. Also good luck with that wiring nightmare getting the impedence right for the amp to stay out of protect. I agree, it's going to sound shitty because you aren't even attempting to use each speaker to it's potential. Not to mention that if you use the passive xovers there is going to be some more power sucked out of the equation. If it were me I'd drop down to just 2 sets of comps on that amp and either get another one to run the other 2 or just wait and see how it sounds first. I have a similar setup being that I run 2 sets of comps actively off a Sundown sax100.4 and I wouldn't even dream of trying to wire another speaker up to it. 2013 VW Jetta GLI 2.0 Turbo 1 Sundown Audio SCV2000 1 Sundown Audio X15 V2 1 XS Power D3100 Audio Control LC6i Stock Deck 146.4 sealed on the dash at 37hz 2001 Focus ZX3: RETIRED Team Sundown Audio, Team XS Power, 2 time NSPL Car 3601-Up Champion, 2 time NSPL Car Hardcore ChampionHighest NSPL Scores to date:154.3db on the dash sealed at 46hz, 156.2db in the kick at 46hz155.2db unofficial on dash at 43hz
corona_jeff
Well since most comp sets has crossover networks, it allows a 4 ohm load per crossover. So that would essentially run Ea channel @ 2 ohm with 4 comp sets. Those diamonds he got take 120watts per side So hes right at the max per set running ea channel @ 2 ohm. It should be really loud and super clean.

skyhighcaraudio
no that being said i can tell you that your 100 per set price range is a bit low for your explanation of what you want...i do understand that dumping money into mids and highs sometimes sucks lol i just got done doing that!! though the diamonds power handing is a bit low to be running 250 per channel for a total of 2 mids and 2 tweets i think that would be your best bet for that price range they are very reasonable and also look sweet!! also i have not personally experienced them but i can tell you i have heard really good things about them so im sure it would be a good choice hope this helps and good luck Contact us for the best quality cables and accessories with the fastest shipping in the industry EMAIL: [email protected]<script data-cfhash='f9e31' type="text/javascript"> /* */</script> LIKE US ON FB: https://www.facebook.com/SkyHighCarAudio ADD ME ON FB: https://www.facebook.com/jon.rabe.1 MONSTER SKY HIGH/DC GMC: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/127057-sky-high-monster-gmc-walk-through-12-lvl-5-15s-6-9ks-trim-panels-and-wiring-p-90/
