i say take the prizes out of sotm and offer something else in return like a plaque (not sure if i spelled that rite) that says u won sotm on smd u know something to show for ur hard work other than something that someone will probly be selling anyways

SOTM started this way. its grown tremendously. It brings in hundreds of new users and honestly I see builds I've never seen before becuase of it. Would that continue if the prizes werent offered? maybe but I doubt it.

It shouldn't matter what the winner does with the prize. It's theirs to do what ever he/she wants with it.
