I lived in the bay area, and the 80s-90s was filled with 5 and under quakes. Never has a quake scared me, except for the 89 quake. We had to run in the door ways, and get out as fast as possible. Didn't realize how big it was until outside when we watched the street wave like the ocean and light poles swing back and forth violently side to side. I still remember the noise of the wire in the light poles making all that noise hitting the poles- pretty noisy actually I was watching quakes all night hit Colorado, another state where quakes are rare, but the big one hit on the east coast... odd Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. I'm in the center of Virginia Beach, my brother felt it down near the ocean, mom felt it up in Ohio, and a friend felt it across the street. Neighbor didn't feel anything either. Kinda disappointing when I looked at my phone to see 16 texts asking if I felt the quake lol.
