If I Had to Sell My Car.....

I got a scare yesterday when a bunch of shit came up and I thought about selling my car. I felt like throwing up. Its been handled, but now I'm curious how much You all think I would get for it. Would it be better to sell it as is with the system in it? KBB says I should ask 25,100 for a private party sell. It would have to go to an audiophile or basshead, so how much?

Or would it be better to strip the system and drop the price to sell the car with no music at all. No deck, no speakers, factory speaker wire gone, cut up trunk carpet.

for that price i would sell it with the system and just start over again, its too much work stripping everything out and then trying to sell a car with no music and a cut up carpet in the trunk...

in a scare like that IMO id part it out u would be more likely to get quick cash for the stuff if sold for cheap, then u can lower the price on the car . because when ur tight on $$ and by selling the luxuries u have to get u on ur feet ur not too worried about the making a profit, i wouldnt atleast

another thing would be to sell ur stuff to friend for cheap with the condition that u can buy it back when u have the $$

Good idea on the friend buyback thing. Gladly I don't have to sell it, but now it's in the back of my mind.

I would pull out car audio, because most of the buyer will offer you crap for it. They gonna start BS like i don't need it, i'm gonna throw it out and so on. Better to sell it with out system.

Btw, do you still have stock HU speaker and amp?

Depends on who you can get to buy it but most buyers won't touch something as modified as yours is for that price and you may be stuck restoring it back to a stock condition to make a sale, most people don't have the same interest and if they do they prefer to do everything themselves with a blank slate to start from.
