shake n bass Posted August 29, 2011 Report Share Posted August 29, 2011 well basically i dont like plastic and i like there amps i ran kicker for little bit doing 143 on dash with 2 12 cvx and 1200 kx 1 ohm stable amp when they made 1 ohm stable amps there were nice. i seen 2500 put out 2900 wired at 1 ohm but clipped on roll up burp still did it though guy did 152 on 4 12 aq hdc3. my friend loves kicker and his in my car club i do not like his setup but i built him a box for our basic 1 which is 500 watt class did 142.2 on dash on 531 watts. not bad did 142 on 490 watts. i can say crx in midwestspl have won past 2 years running L5 kickers doing amazing numbers. i just dont like sound of plastic at all. 1996 dodge stratus audiopipe 3k 2 15 american bass xds 10 door speakers threw out car kenwood head unit. spl scores from trunk: 147.7db on 2k extreme out side window-129.2db kaos 3 min average music-138.3db Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

rubbernutz1 Posted August 29, 2011 Report Share Posted August 29, 2011 to me thier subs have went to shit over the years. they still have decent sounding mids and highs but i wouldnt buy thier subs. their old skool stuff is the best to get for mids and highs thow. im running nuthin but old skool kickers in my van for mids and highs and it sounds pretty good. Their subs can be had for cheap though and they can get pretty damn loud for what they are. Like if I was looking for some beat on the cheap, I really wouldn't mind running CVX's or CVR's.
