Anyone Running a 7.5k?

Recommended Posts

Got one on the way. Going to be running it on 5 XS 1400s and 6 level 3 15s at .67 daily.

It will be probably 2-3 weeks before I have the wall built and running but just keep an eye on the build and I will post all of my thoughts on the amp.

You putting this in your ford cj? Should be beast. I forsee big numbers if you keep your box on the small size and rise down.that amp should do rated or more with the 14v batterys I love mine. Dc and xs 14v ftw

Yep is going in my F150. I finally decided to grow some balls and build a wall, so this is happening. I am planning on going with about 3ft3 per sub after displacements, but I wont be home until sunday night and will be able to start getting measurements next week to get the design finalized.

i was just told on ca.com that with my 185 amp dc alt i will only be able to run 3500 watts safely. is this true? sorry dont mean to thread jack

lol, it depends on how many batteries, ive seen 7k on a stock 100amp alt, but the dude had 10 fat ass batteries. running high power needs charging but charging is nothing without somewhere to store the power.
