speedball1978
CA glue... works like a champ... be sure to use only enough to cover the cracked area and then some... should be fine.. let it sit for a few hours... before playing and shouldn't affect the sub at all... Maroon97SL
coulda just used nail polish. Someone said that "Back in the day we could just slap on some clear nail polish and BAM good to go lol". The gasket chit peeled right off. Now for round two. Car tire patch kit? What else can I use!?! Like a piece of rubber and some rubber cement? Autruche
Seriously, just put a little super glue on it and be done with it. Gorilla glues is the shit for minor repairs like that. After all, tis but a scratch, you don't need to get all fancy about it. Quote Need Test Tones/Sine Waves? Maroon97SL
Tried rubber cement today, didn't work. Tried clear nail polish and it worked alright. I picked up some RTV gasket maker chit and im gonna try and use that on the back side. Maroon97SL
I picked up rtv gasket silicone, it seems to not want to stick to the rubber. Am I not letting it fully set? Will it bond better after the 24-hr setting period. I keep wasting money on all these silicones and glues.
