Ignantfi3d
Is there anyplace I can get my amp fixed? It's a Power Acoustik BAMF 2200/2. Would love to get it fixed to replace this junk Audiobahn amp I have. Nobody will touch this thing. Local guy doensn't know when his tech is coming back, if ever. problem is this... when it turns on, goes right into protect mode, left side heats up fast and smokes. I tested the terminals and get continuity between the + and - terminals. If anyone knows a place, or if anyone on here can do it, please let me know. My buddy opened it and pulled the board to see if anything looked burnt on the bottom and the top. we both saw nothing burnt or crispy. sayhuh?
You can get the amp new for 150-180 bucks. It would cost you at least 150-250 or 300 to repair it. Quote Blown
kirill007
Lol you call audiobahn junk but your using Power acoustic. Anyway, just buy a new amp, it will be cheaper then having to replace it multiple times.(and don't buy a poweracoustic, audiobahn, boss, or SPL amps, those are junk. If you need 1000W RMS it will be around 300 dollar to have a decent one,JBL,rockford, alpine, sundown, are good amps.) Quote Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
