zx10intn
Im sure its a great amp . The name is just misleading yes and no, the ouput looks great on it, but you have to wire it SUPER low and be able to run 16v+ to reach its potential Quote 1969 Chevy Chevelle 20/22" staggered Bonspeed Huntingtons wrapped in Nitto INVO's Mechman 250amp cs144 alt w/AVBM Kinetik 1800 main battery/Kinetik 2400 in the trunk Pioneer AVH-3200dvd Headunit (2) sets of Hybrid Audio Technologies Imagine components up front (2) DD 3512's d4 coils Sundown sax100.4 component amp Sundown saz-3000d subwoofer amp 5ft^3 box tuned to 34hz MY BUILD

CJ18
i'm still somewhat confused...it's making like 6500w between the 2 channels after rise? i'm really just trying to figure out why it's called the 12k if it's making the same power as the 7.5k...(if i'm reading all this right.) I am going to be clamping my 7.5k twice. Once tomorrow to see current power and rise and once in about a week once the subs break in to see the change. he is getting 30hz 44a 71v 3124x2 @ 1.61ohm per channel thats 6k not 6k per channel. he was wired at .5 per channel. he would have to wire down to .2 or so per channel in order to get 12 clamped. I will actually be trying this once my subs break in. I have a final .66 ohm load which I can bridge and see .33 per channel. I am running 14v batteries so I will be able to regulate my voltage to see the power at different voltages. Im sure its a great amp . The name is just misleading yes and no, the ouput looks great on it, but you have to wire it SUPER low and be able to run 16v+ to reach its potential It is not recommended to run the 12k any higher than 16.0v. Chode69
Ray why so much negativity towards this amp? I cant remember amperage or voltage (ill see if i can get this later on) but at 40 htz with my 12k wired to .25 ohm bridged (not per channel) i had a 1.7 ohm rise and got 6405 watts out of it and scored a 156 in the kick. before when i had my 5ks strapped at 1 ohm i actually put out MORE power had about a 5 ohm box rise and hit less of a score. more power doesnt always mean more DB. i was able to get 7700 out of my strapped 5ks at 1 ohm and almost a 5 ohm rise and i was only hitting mid 154s in the kick.
