flashlight_65
What do you guys use to keep your babies clean? I got a little buid up in the rifling of my USP and have been soaking it in hoppes #9 and punching the bore but it's being damn stubborn. Any secret squirell stuff you guys use to make it sparkle? flwatersaver
Simple Green. Seems odd, I know. But it works great for soaking parts. Quote My selling FeedbackBuild log - Blazer C pillar wall, Two DC Audio 3.5k'sTEAM PSI
LT.Smoke
I use hoppes and my bore brush it always does the job.... Trick is NOT to let the powder set and just build up in the gun.....After a day of shooting clean it promptly will make it much easier Quote Team MaxRetribution Si Vis Pacem Parabellum Id rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 Bowhunting- Life Begins and Ends at Full Draw Bowhunting Team Fatal Trajectory Hunt Team http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/49335-sick96vtecaccords-t-line-build/?hl=sick96vtecaccord << Accord Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/68498-smokedout08impalas-tline-build/?hl=+sick96vtecaccord << Impala T-line build Rebassed.com for all your music needs 👌
flashlight_65
I've cleaned it after every time at the range but I looked at the rifling extra close instead of the "peek and twist" and just noticed a little build up (really tiny at the valley of the of the rifling) I let it sit overnight and it's still there. I'll try leaving a wet patch of CLP and see if that helps. I'll try the simple green on the lower next time Quote My builds: my caddy my 'hoe friends impala

SPLadd1ct
Use Kano Kroil for soaking stuff that has a lot of residual build up on it...It's also great for freeing up frozen parts. It's a penetrating oil. Check it out! flwatersaver
i dont thinhk id use simple green on it. that shit eats paint off. Do a google search on it. So far i have not hurt anything. I mostly clean handguns with it. I have soaked the aluminum s&W 642 in it overnight with no issues. I have not used it on anything blued.
