They get loud, and sound really nice in my opinion. I was happy even with the he2's and the hx's were a step up from that. You would honestly be happy with a nice ported box with those 2 subs man. You start mixing and matching everything, and sending the proper power gets to be a pain in the ass. And wiring multiple amps with ALL different power outputs won't be fun for you. P.S. it hasn't been mentioned yet, but thank you for enlisting in the Air Force and protecting our country. We might not be able to enjoy our petty hobbies(cars, stereos, porn) without people like you willing to defend it. So for that Sir, thanks a bunch. Im not the one you want to try to troll. OrionStang Posted October 26, 2011 Report Posted October 26, 2011 what 8 12s do you have. not all 12s are created equal they are in pairs so i have 4 pairs i wanted to put them in the same box and just seal off each pair into their own individual box all in one big box though(if that makes sense) i have 2 rockford fosgate Hx2 2 memphis power refrence 2 cerwin vegas 2 infinity refrence WTF?? How did I miss this bullshit. You come here to ask advice then completely blow everyone off that is trying to explain to you why you shouldn't mix and match subs. I'm trying real hard not to bash your dumb ass right now. Should probably learn to listen if you've joined the service.
