Dylank811 Posted October 7, 2011 Report Posted October 7, 2011 I hate it when people actually think that their car with stock speakers and an additional computer speaker in the center console running off a Dual head unit, an "800w" Kenwood amp spaghetti wired with an assortment of different gauge wiring, and two mediocre Pioneer subs is better than yours. I was told today in a heated discussion with a friend after I pissed her off that my system is shitty and lacks good deep bass. Honestly, I think the problem here is that her subs distorted because they were being overpowered by a clipped amp. Static/clipped signals always sound louder because your ears hate it. It's so hard to argue with ignorant people, it seems they always win when they're wrong. I wish she would join SMD so everyone could enlighten her. She thinks Kicker is supreme, 10" subs can never beat 12"s or 15"s, and that my RF P3's just "sound weird" and don't have good low bass. (My subs hit 24hz come to find out from an audio test) I guess my trunk just doesn't rattle enough for her. Lemme go loosen a few screws here and there... I stick my head in the window to see whatsup and I am greeted by a chorus of rattling, clipping, and speakers topping out. Yes I says my system is bad cause I have a sony xplod on two rd 15s lol. And terrible dim lol. But still better then most the people that live here in sheboygan wisconsin.
