pstone11
Not a whole lot of picture updates on this - been working on the lift this past weekend. New control arms, front springs, shocks, and ball joints are installed in the front, the rear is going back together with new upper and lower links, springs, and air shocks. Once that is wrapped up, it is back to the motor, digital dash, and the system. Check out StoneSounds to see my recent builds.Or look at the Flying White Facebook Page! pstone11
Holy nice interior, did only grandma drive it to church on sunny days? Any plans for exterior paint or did I miss it? It was grandpa's car - Mr Jim took good care of it. The paint is cool the way it is, I am going to try my best to get it cleaned and buffed out so it shines almost like new... if it won't shine, we will have to look into some paint action. Besides that, it is going to get a fresh quarter top. Check out StoneSounds to see my recent builds.Or look at the Flying White Facebook Page! pstone11
So, here are a couple shots of the spring lift. I like it much much better than shims or cups. Front is springs, upper control arms, shocks - rear has adjustable upper and lower links, springs and air shocks. Talk about a time consuming car to lift - it fought back at every turn... I really like how it sits, but I am waiting for the whole car to be done before I bolt the adapters and wheels on. Here is the front after the lift - not too high, should not be too "donk". I'm waiting on the machine shop to get the trailing arms back to me - Should get them back on tomorrow and the rear will be finished. Had to pull the sweet trailer hitch off - - what a shame.
