Decaf
so i started at 4pm and finished at 1235 am, not bad for me, spent more time watching mythbusters in between glue drying than anything. hope you guys like as much as i do. and surprisingly i didnt make one mistake with a $45 piece of birch, which is a first for me. this box will get me ready for mine that i'll be doing next week sometime (mine being a little bigger and i have to wait to cut hole for sub till its contructed since its only 16 tall with a 15" port forward sub forward. here's some finishing pics my glue bead...small and even...nice support for baffle at closest edge to front and back closeup...used a 45 to reduce size and to not impede with the port since its kinda close inside looking at port with 45's oposite side of port 45's im using the previous 45's in the middle of box to brace with 1" dowl rod 1 1/2 away from bottom of sub(hope thats not to close)(not actual dowl in picture) finished on the outside...all in 6 hours ish

Decaf
it reinforces the fact that even (1) 3/4 mdf and lets say a 1/2 birch ply can increase the strength alot more without increase weight as much as another 3/4 mdf (birch is slightly lighter) and its soo sexy when your done

Decaf
no need.... i introduce to fellow forum members to my new favorite product. dupli color truck bed liner first apply masking tape wherever you dont want it, in my case i had to attach the baffle seals and strengthens slightly, along with adding mass i was going to use polyester resin, but this turned out better i found it at Farm & Fleet, probably can find it at any hardware store next to bed liner materials, bondo, fiberglass repair kits more to come... so much more

I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. I werk there, I have tried all similar stuff we carry like the 3m, the regular grade rubberized undercoating, the professional grade, the Rhino liner, pretty much all of em. I use that stuff anytime i wanna "stop sanding" and get it black as it hides the minor imperfections well, works ase a basecoat if you plan on painting, and waterproofs. I used it on the exterior of the box i built for the 4 cvr -8s in my cowerkers 2004 civic. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...?showtopic=8190 Good stuff.
