lifted_silverado
i saw a sa 15 on 6k... im considering it, although it did blow on the 4th burp well do you want a burp box?? no i was thinking daily im just saying it was hitting 160 It wasnt just no planing for that 160, they know what theyre doing. Also its a fart box not daily, you'll never see that in a daily setup after box rise and other factors its a no go. Would sound good but not comparable to a BTL at all Everythings in the attic or garage since the truck was sold last year. New build should be coming soon in a dodge cummins

beat2deth
the sa-15 is a fine sub. its not top-of-the-line, but it can handle plenty of power and perform great as a daily. you may not hit 50's(idk your personal level of skill), but if done right, you can have a great setup. Supercharged DCs
I believe a DC XL 15/ DD3515 is in your budget, and should take the power fine. Please set your gains properly, no "85%" bull. You will end up clipping your hard earned, high end equipment and destroying it. What electrical upgrades do you have planned to support 2,500wrms? Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

kam311
Yeh I'm going to run gain at lol 85% but compared to 1 btl how would it compare? Huh? What does that have to do with anything? Your gain isn't a volume knob, you don't just choose a number and set it there. The gain knob is to match the voltage that your head unit is sending to your amp. The only proper way to set it is with an o-scope or a dd-1. You can try by ear but it isn't recommended, there is also the dmm route but it didn't work for me. On another note the SA's will do fine on that power and peope that know what they are doing are in the 150's all day with them. Doesn't mean any of us will be, I'm just sayin. But the low-mid 30's would be a low goal for the set up id say. so far...
