Siete_Cinqo
You can get away with 50" wide on the box. I would go 17.5" tall then go up to 21" after you clear the "drain rails".... Just so that you won't have to remove them. Random vids of the Avalanche My link Team Bass-Hz
IBleedMusick
This truck is clean as hell... Tuned in and I have dealt with a few of thee pain in the ass GM trucks and I did exactly what Merzbow did. I had one guy just fiberglass an extension on the front of the dash moving all the knobs, buttons etc forward just enough to flush mount his Pioneer Z1 looked clean when it was done. Question? Do you plan on putting a new wood grain trim kit around the dash to cover the black around the HU or are you leaving it black? Either way truck is clean as hell GLWB. 2013 Dodge Charger Build Log 1996 Ford Explorer XLT 5.0Build Log 2005 Honda Civic LX Coupe Build Log SMD SUPER SELLER!!!!My Selling Feedback

I didn't even wantto think about removing those drains plus I plan on glassing the box inside and out. That 50" wide should make the box sit all the way flush against the sides so that will be a good thing. Everyone with this style GM has the same problem, you'd think with a big-ass truck there would be sufficient room for a big-ass HU, but no... I had to cut out some of the plastic behind the HU with a Dremel. Yeah I guess they figured as long as you could fit that fatory double din that it would be room for anything else but they didn't plan for us putting in these big ass systems LoL.I'm going to get back there with a dremel here soon. Well that wood kit is going bye bye when they replace the dash and I'm going to see if they can put the one in that comes with the real wood.Oh and for those that wonder how much the estimate was to replace that dash....$2000 WOW!!! Yeah and about $700 of that is labor.Wheels I'm still working on but they should be somewhere around $700 a piece shipped. Real96SS
Okay its been awhile but I work nights and it has been hard to find the energy to stay awake to do anything during the week.I have been doing some small things and ordering more stuff.Right now the inside of the truck is a mess.First thing I had to do was pull the deck back out because it was only a temp install to make sure everything works. So while I have it back out I had to trim behind the deck to make room for the rest of the wiring that needs to be installed for the system.I also cut the piece that's crossing the white foam out also.Next thing was to pull out all that old stuff and see exactly what Circuit City did when they wired this all up 4 years ago. Also as you can see in the pics the kick panels where installed but only to test fitment.Should be wiring them up next week also to get ready for installing the 200.4.Well here's the pictures because I know you guys enjoy those more than reading what I'm saying LoL Vehicle 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche(Co-Co) DNX9980HD 6 Team Fi 15's(King Edition) 3 DC 9k's 8 Nendo PWX 8's 4 Custom Steg 4" Super Tweeters 1 DC Audio 175.4 1 DC Audio 90.4 Rockford 360.3 3 DC Power 370xp Alts(Externally regulated) 21 D1600's 2 D4800's All SMD RCA's AudioTechnix Deadner Viper Alarm My YouTube- http://www.youtube.c...NG?feature=mhee Link to buildlog- http://www.stevemead...4-15s-2-dc-9ks/ Link to UBL- http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/165059-ublkings-avalanchecoco-new-build-starting8-king-edition-15-team-fis-in-a-wallyes-a-wall/

Real96SS
So as you can see in the pictures of the back of the truck that plastic is starting to fade.So I happened to stumble across this stuff called TC Black Fusion on YouTube that restores it and I must say that it actually works.I only put on one coat and it looks new again. Some areas I have to go over again because I guess the applicator pad got dry on me.If anybody needs it you can order it from Ebay.Just search TC Black Fusion. Here are the before pictures After-Was kinda cloudy out so I will get better pictures when the sun comes out Vehicle 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche(Co-Co) DNX9980HD 6 Team Fi 15's(King Edition) 3 DC 9k's 8 Nendo PWX 8's 4 Custom Steg 4" Super Tweeters 1 DC Audio 175.4 1 DC Audio 90.4 Rockford 360.3 3 DC Power 370xp Alts(Externally regulated) 21 D1600's 2 D4800's All SMD RCA's AudioTechnix Deadner Viper Alarm My YouTube- http://www.youtube.c...NG?feature=mhee Link to buildlog- http://www.stevemead...4-15s-2-dc-9ks/ Link to UBL- http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/165059-ublkings-avalanchecoco-new-build-starting8-king-edition-15-team-fis-in-a-wallyes-a-wall/
