I have been having issues figuring out what ride I wanted next and you are making it easy for me to choose. Its tough for a tall guy 6"8 to find a full sized ride while making sure your family have enough room (and of course some sounds). I still have a few months before I'm gonna make any moves to buy so I'm sure I'll get some great ideas from your build. I'm sure you hear this, but I make a habit to say this to every soldier I have ever met. Thanks for what you do for our country! Its the people such as your self that serve our country and make it safe for us to live here. First off thanks sir for the kind words and you will come to find that it's plenty of us Military guys on this forum.Now I love my truck and have had it since 2007 and I have to say that I will never not have an Avy parked in my yard from now on.This was my first truck and I fell in love.It's way more flexible than any other truck on the market.So if you want a truck and love systems the Avy is the most friendly to all your needs with a family. Real96SS Posted December 26, 2011 Author Report Share Posted December 26, 2011 Small update.Since its the holidays haven't been able to get much done but I got 3 runs of power ran and fuses mounted.Cut the bottom piece for the amp rack.Got a clue as to how I'm going to organize everything in the back.Should have new pics up tomorrow for you guys.Getting really close to having some power!!! Real96SS Posted December 26, 2011 Author Report Share Posted December 26, 2011 First thing first I got the port painted white.Didn't turn out exactly how I wanted but it looks good. Next while the paint was drying I went ahead and started putting a little Dynamat on the front doors so I could get them back together.I really didnt want to cut my doors for both the 6.5's and the tweeters so I figured a way out so I would only have to cut for the tweeters.Got creative and used the Alpine tag off the Alpine grilles and glued them to the stock grille.So now both front doors and completely done and wired up. Notice the Alpine Logo moved from the Alpine grille to the Stock grille?
